"Hiding In The Light" is the perfect opener, which accomplishes what it announces in the title and also serves as the curtain that opens to this mysterious sound world. "Analogy" takes off from where the first track left off, boosting the fuel. The energy has overflowed so much that "Invisible Form" appeases it: our soul has overflowed and has been filled. "Touch" ends up nullifying everything and invisibilizing in the sound of silence. A perfect transition from beginning to end.

This, friends, is my only reported “favorite album of 2021.” This album- granted, an anthology- has so many textures. I noted in a 3-track ‘spanse being reminded of Four Tet (albeit beatless), Trepaningritualen (plus harmonica), and Acid Mothers Temple (sans guitar). The Sonologyst is a curatorial genius. Creativity rules this world.
